For me, home buying or selling is, above all, very personal. That's because the human side tends to be so emotional. People are hopeful yet anxious. Often they feel intimidated. After all, this involves some of the most critical decisions of their lives. Understanding is key. So I take the time to get to truly know my clients-what their hopes, requirements and concerns are. That way, like any good matchmaker, I know how to put them together with what they really need, whether it's a certain type of buyer or type of seller. The relationship has to be compatible for it all to work out successfully. It often happens that clients even become actual friends of mine before the transaction is complete!
I've been around the block a few times. With over 15 years in the real estate industry serving the entire Denver metro area, I have the experience and knowledge to identify what matches a client like you. What's more, since 2007 I've been teamed with the remarkable Denice Reich. Together, we have more than 50 years of combined experience. This team of ours means that you will always have an experienced Realtor on hand, giving you multiple viewpoints of your buying or selling situation.
Born and bred in the Midwest, I now live in a 100-year old home that my husband, Rick, and I lovingly restored from the ground up. Talk about taking a passion for real estate to the max! We welcomed our new baby girl, Maggie, into the world last spring, rounding out a bunch that already included our dogs, Lady and Buddy, as well as our "city chickens": Dorothy, Sophia, Blanche and Rose.
Matchmaking in my spare time, too! I'm drawn to causes involving animals, including services that unite unattached animals with people. I'm a supporter of Big Fluffy Dog Rescue, Rescuers Without Borders, Guardian Angels for Soldiers' Pets, the Beagle Freedom Project, as well as The Children's Miracle Network and the Dolphin Project. Also, as a member of the West Highland Neighborhood Association, I serve on its Design & Preservation Committee. I love spending as much time as possible exploring our spectacular mountains and traveling. But mainly you'll find me at home, loving life with my amazing, extended family!
